Volunteer with FRC

Do you care about building up the next generation?  Do you want to spend a fantastic week in the mountains? Do you believe Jesus is your Lord and Savior of your life?

We love as Christ loves us. As a faithful follower of the Lord, we would love to have you lead our youth at camp!

For more information on serving with the FRC team, please email the FRC Camp Directors Samantha Rhodes and Mike Oldham at SRhodes@abcrm.org and MOldham@abcrm.org

As a youth leader for your youth group or children's ministry, you will build relationship capital with students during the week at camp; from activities designed around building trust, small group conversations, and church family time, there is ample opportunity to continue to foster the connection between your students and leaders. We ask that all church and youth groups bring one leader per age group present at FRC, with a 1:6 ratio of leaders to students.

Volunteers must agree with our statement of faith, complete safety training, and a background screening to attend FRC and provide references.

Apply as a Leader

Once you apply to be a leader at Front Range Camping, our director will contact your references, and you will be sent a background screening invitation. All volunteers must complete annual background screenings.

To effectively model for campers a lifestyle of faith in Jesus Christ, each volunteer must have a growing commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to live out that commitment in a lifestyle of obedience, witness, and service.

Webinar: Supporting Youth through Mental Health Challenges

June 22nd at 6:15 PM MT- FREE

Kids and teens today are facing anxiety, pressure, loneliness, and emotional challenges at increasing rates. For adults serving in churches, camps, and families, it can be hard to know how to respond when a young person is struggling.

Join Suzanne Eitzen, certified Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor, for a practical and encouraging webinar designed for camp counselors, youth volunteers, ministry leaders, and parents. Suzanne is passionate about equipping adults to respond with compassion, confidence, and care during moments of emotional or mental health crisis.

Participants will learn how to recognize warning signs, respond supportively, listen without judgment, and help connect youth with appropriate support.

You don’t need to be a mental health professional to make a difference — sometimes a caring, prepared adult can change everything.
